In the first semester of the second year in Chulalongkorn University, I took a course that was very interesting. It was the yoga course. At first, I used to think that yoga is a kind of sport but my yoga teacher told that it is not. Yoga is the physical, mental, and spiritual practice. Also, it is the methods of controlling the mind and the body. In this course, I practiced yoga once a week, and after the class, pain came to every part of my body. Then, I decided to practice it every day so that the body will get accustomed to it. As a result, the pain will gradually relieve, and finally disappear. According to the practice, I can stay late at night to do my pile of homework and feel fresh in the morning. Moreover, I can concentrate on classes and read books for long time. Yoga practicing makes me have good health, good shape, and good personality as well. Significantly, I got good grades in last semester. I think yoga is appropriate to university students because it is easy to practice. It takes not too much time to practice and only a little space, and we can find the yoga practicing video on Youtube or other websites. If we practice it every day, we will get benefits from it.
